Greenmist Thane: “The Thanes are the ruling chiefs of the Greenmist Highlanders, tracing their lineage back to before their people lived in the wilds.”

Greenmist Thane +: “Though Thanes often vie with each other for resources in the inhospitable mountains, they are all distantly related by a complex system of marriages.”

Greenmist Thane ++: “Each Thane keeps a small stone dagger, an heirloom from their clans' founding. It is used to draw blood for solemn oaths.”

Greenmist Thane +++: “Rumor has it that the Alshin Empire is supplying the Highlanders with weapons to mount an attack on their commercial rival, Havenport.”
