How to enter the Source editor

What you see is not exactly what the wiki stores

Pages are stored as Wikitext written in a wiki markup language.
You can review and edit the Wikitext by using the Source editor.
There are two ways to enter the Source editor:

From the page:

From the Visual editor:

Set the Source editor as the default

If you are a registered user, you can set the Source editor as the default:

[My preferences] -> [Editing] -> [Preferred editor]
